PREPARING FOR YOUR PUPPY

Bringing home a new puppy is so much fun and exciting; it is truly one of life’s joys to do so! Other than the puppy shopping, there is the shopping for your puppy! Finding the perfect products for your puppy can be a blast — and there are plenty of them to choose from. It will be tempting to splurge on your new dog.

WHAT TO BUY?

The items listed below should be sufficient for a head start:

Play pen (to facilitate toilet training)
Pee Tray
Bowls (Food / Water)
Water Bottle
Newspaper/ Pee Pads
Old Towels (as bedding)
Lots and lots of toys (different textures)
Puppy Shampoo
Ear Cleaner
Nail Clipper
Slicker Brush
Combs
Leashes
Collars

You may notice that leashes and collars are last on the list as they are the least important for the first 2 -3 weeks. Most puppies are not completed with their 3rd vaccination and should not be heading out until they are done so.
